Chief Executive Officer
Matt Ostrander is co-founder, majority owner, Chairman and CEO of Parkside Lending, LLC. Matt oversees day-to-day operations, drives Parkside’s business vision and develops subsidiary projects. Since founding the company in 2004, he has grown Parkside to a national Wholesale and Correspondent Platform, emphasizing a highly automated business model and creating a company culture that fosters creativity, trust and enthusiasm for the work and the industry.
Parkside is a Third Party Originator that has produced strong returns through up and down cycles in Mortgage Lending. He and his veteran management team navigated the company through the mortgage deterioration of 2007 and 2008 that consumed many mortgage banks, commercial banks and other financial services companies in the United States.
Matt has a history of building companies from start-up to success by breaking down complex processes and working collaboratively with others to create simple systems that yield proven results. His experience spans an array of industries, including music, interactive media, medical software and entertainment production.
He is a Director for the California Mortgage Bankers Association Board, where he serves as the President of Residential Real Estate, and a Board member of the Freddie Mac Advisory Board. Matt also serves as President of the Mill Valley Soccer Club, a nonprofit youth sports organization serving 2,500 families in Marin County; serves as President and Chairman of the Board for Parkside Mortgage Trust REIT; and is a co-founder and major shareholder of @Home Financial Services Company, Van Ness Insurance Services, LLC, and ParkSoft, LLC, a mortgage software company. He has formerly served as a Director on the board of TeraRecon, a medical software company.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Matt graduated from Cornell University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. He lives in Marin County with his wife and three children. He coaches children’s soccer and enjoys traveling, photography, drawing, surfing, skiing and music.
Chief Financial Officer
Paul has more than 25 years of executive-level financial management experience in both private and public companies in the mortgage and financial services industries. Paul began his career with the Big Four accounting firm KPMG, leaving after 10 years as an Audit Senior Manager to join First California Mortgage as the Vice President of Internal Audit and Quality Control. Paul went on to become the CFO of First California Mortgage and the CFO of Homecomings Financial, a division of GMAC/RFC, helping to grow that division into one of the 10 largest wholesale mortgage lenders in the US. Since then, Paul has held several CFO and COO positions in other mortgage banks and financial services companies.
Chief Credit Officer
Linda brings 45 years of leadership experience to Parkside. She recently managed credit for a large, national, lender, creating the oversight and administration of the firm’s lending policies. Linda has been an executive in diverse disciplines within mortgage banking including operations, credit, and sales. Specializing in the government business The depth of her career includes 22 years in a senior executive role with one of the most successful firms in the industry.
Chief Compliance Officer
Laurie joined Parkside Lending, LLC as Chief Compliance Officer in 2014. She brings 20 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry to the role.
Prior to joining Parkside Lending, Laurie was Chief Compliance Officer at DocMagic, Inc., the leading provider of loan documents and compliance services in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining DocMagic, she worked in policies and procedures, project management, risk management, and compliance for a variety of lenders, including Washington Mutual, ResMAE Mortgage Corporation, and Kinecta Federal Credit Union.
Mortgage banking is Laurie's second career. Previously, she worked at the Disneyland Resort for 18 years, where she held a variety of roles in operations, training, and organizational development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Long Beach. A lifelong resident of California, Laurie lives with her family in Orange County.
Executive Vice President, Secondary Marketing
Patty Gong joined Parkside Lending in 2007. Since that time, her notable accomplishments include building the company's first pricing engine, rolling out its hedging protocol, adding the first loans to its servicing portfolio, and issuing Parkside Lending's first GSE and first GNMA securities. Patty continues to manage interest rate risk, trading, and investor relationships; the Lock Desk, Shipping and Investor Relations teams fall under Patty's purview. As a member of the Credit Committee, the Interest Rate Risk Committee and the Executive Committee, she is a key voice for corporate strategy.
Patty has more than two decades of mortgage banking experience, including managing mortgage pricing, interest rate risk, capital markets, operations, and product development. Before joining Parkside Lending, Patty worked at Alliance Bancorp and Integrated Capital Group. Patty was recently named as one of the MPA's Elite Women in 2016.
Executive Vice President, Sales
More than 20 years of sales and 16 years of sales management experience in the mortgage business serve James well at Parkside Lending. He guides the National Sales Team to consistently higher production levels, and is a member of the Executive Committee which sets direction for the company.
James joined Parkside Lending in 2008 after more than 14 years with the mortgage group of a large, international bank, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility, from Wholesale Account Executive to SVP and Southwest Group Manager. After the sale of that lender to another large mortgage entity, James was named VP, Divisional Sales Manager for the Southwest, where he oversaw a team of 65 account executives and four regional managers covering five states.
Executive Vice President, Sales
Clint oversees the National Sales Team, guiding it to consistently higher production levels, and originally joined Parkside Lending in 2008 as an Account Executive. He is a member of the Executive Committee which sets direction for the company, and has been instrumental in helping the CEO grow the company by more than eight times its initial size.
Since entering the wholesale lending industry over a decade ago, Clint quickly became a top producing Account Executive and then progressed into Sales Management. As a manager he leveraged his sales and management expertise to build top producing regions. Clint is a founding board member of the Marilyn Rosenthal foundation, dedicated to empowering our youth through education and activity. Previously, Clint had a successful career in the field of High Tech spanning two decades, where he held senior and executive management positions at well-known international tech companies.
Executive Vice President, National Operations
Dave brings over 24 years of multifaceted operational and credit management experience on a wide spectrum of mortgage products. Prior to joining Parkside Lending, he successfully held leadership positions at several high-volume nationwide lenders, improving customer service, scalability and efficiencies throughout the process.
Dave brings his passion of constantly striving for both an exceptional customer and employee experience through technology, best practices and process enhancements.
Robert W. Meachum
Executive Vice President, Servicing
Robert Meachum is Executive Vice President of Servicing for Parkside Lending, managing the execution of Parkside’s servicing strategy. Robert has over 30 years of leadership experience serving in senior executive positions with several large financial service organizations in the areas of business strategy, finance, operations, risk management, capital markets and business development. Robert has particular experience building and managing scalable business operations.
Prior to Parkside Lending, Robert was president of Marathon Advisory Services, a consulting firm specializing in the operational transformation of the financial services industry. In this capacity, Robert helped organizations in the strategic design and execution of their business operations. Robert also served as Executive Vice President at Stonegate Mortgage, where he built its servicing business and assisted in the company’s initial public offering on the NYSE. Other past experiences include senior leadership positions with Homeward Residential (formerly American Home), Saxon Mortgage (a division of Morgan Stanley), GMAC-Rescap (Ally Financial) and Capstead Mortgage (a publicly traded REIT and member of the NYSE).
Vice President, Software Optimization and Support
Kyeleen joined Parkside Lending in 2015. In that time, she has worked to help implement and configure several software solutions to optimize Parkside’s technology platform. In addition to leading our Software Optimization Team, she manages our Software Support Team who provides systems support to both our internal users and TPO Clients.
Kyeleen began her career in the Mortgage Industry over 20 years ago. She has worked in a variety of roles in both wholesale and retail lending, including underwriting, managing credit exception policy and pricing. Leveraging her diverse background, she has also worked with various lenders, leading projects seeking to increase efficiencies in business and operational practices.
